Beta Episode 1

This is the first episode of the Beta phase of our podcast. This week we have news updates on Congress returning from summer recess, George Allen’s race problem and a special report on Path to 9/11 by Bruce Ewert who posted some key information on the story on DailyKos last Friday. We also have a special tribute to the memory of those lost in the 9/11 attacks from some friends who shared their memories of the morning of September 11th, 2001.

History of the SRP Newsweekly Podcast

The Roots Project podcast began as a solo effort on my part to keep RP members and interested parties updated on the project, to provide news of interest to the community and to interview persons of interest to our friends online. I began recording these podcasts in May of 2006 and the podcast has grown with time into a group project.
